Beginning Ballroom and Salsa

Each class period will cover both a ballroom dance and Salsa. Ballroom dances will be taught in the American Style, and will include Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Swing. Salsa will include Salsa, Merengue, and a little Bachata. Instruction will cover basic patterns (steps), technique for those patterns (what makes each step look and feel good), how to lead and follow, and dance etiquette. Please bring clean, comfortable shoes, preferably leather or suede bottomed to allow you to turn on the floor. Dress shoes, jazz shoes, and character shoes are all good options. No experience required. Come with or without a partner!

Registration

There are several ways to register for classes.

• Phone:  Call 612-338-1101 to register over the phone with a credit card payment.
• Fax:  Download the registration form and fax it to 612-338-2479 with a credit card payment.
• Mail:  Download the registration form and mail it to the Zenon office with a check or credit card payment.
• In Person:  Stop by the Zenon office to register in person. If you are planning to register at your first class, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you have enough time to complete your registration. To save time you can download the registration form and fill it out ahead of time.
