About Zenon Dance SchoolZenon Dance School offers an impressive array of classes in modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop, breakdancing, tap, ballroom, house dance, African dance, bellydance, contact improvisation, and yoga. Known for our comfortable atmosphere and reasonable class rates, Zenon welcomes all dancers, regardless of age, ability, or experience. Classes are taught by the area’s leading independent instructors who bring out the unique potential of each student, from the beginning child or adult to the professional-level dancer. Whether you are looking for professional training, a vocational class, a fun way to exercise, or a social experience, you’ll find that Zenon classes will move you in enjoyable and challenging ways as you stretch your body and your mind! Zenon offers four class sessions per year. Sessions range from 10–14 weeks. Classes meet weekly. Adult ProgramZenon's adult classes are open to students ages 15 and older. Our adult students range in age from 15 to 80! Our adult classes support students at every level of experience. All adult classes are capped at 30 students, with the average class size approximately 15 students. Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and the instructor to see the line of your body. Shoes should be worn for ballet, ballroom, breakdancing, hip hop, house, jazz, and tap classes. Some classes have live accompanists. Youth ProgramZenon’s youth classes are for students ages 3-14. Class sizes are small, allowing for focused one-on-one attention. Our independent instructors work to foster a non-competitive atmosphere that challenges students to stretch themselves both technically and creatively. Young children’s classes focus on nurturing the student’s love of movement and creative exploration. Youth classes are capped at 15 students and creative movement classes at 10 students. All youth students are invited to perform with their class in our youth concert at the end of each spring session. Students should wear clothing that allows them to move freely. Shoes should be worn for ballet, hip hop, and jazz classes. |
